Cozy Bedrooms

Design Ideas

Bedrooms, Inspiration

I am in need of inspiration! Doesn’t this bed look comfortable?

I really like the colors of this room. They seem soothing and calm.

I wish my plaster walls looked this beautiful in their natural state.

I like the oversized artwork and that it is centered over the side table instead of the bed.

A tapestry used as a headboard is interesting.

Note: These images came from my inspiration folder. I am sorry that I didn’t save the original source information.

Nice pics! To me, some look really inviting, some a bit less… On the first one – those pillows with ruffles age great, and the color of that throw (kinda dirty pinkish) is gorgeous! But all the interiors look too modern for a house of early 19′s to my opinion…
The idea of tapestry on the wall doesn’t look too weird to me (I’m from Russia, we have a habit of hanging rugs on walls to get some more privacy from neighbors behind the wall in our apartments). This particular rug though makes me think of Asia…

BTW… I was lucky to find your site one day – it gives me LOTS of inspiration! We have a 1911 bungalow (at least we think it should/could be called bungalow) and have some work to be done around it. All out woodwork is painted over, floors have wall to wall carpet, walls are painted right over 6 or so layers of wallpaper an so on… anyway, it was nice to find you! Thanks for sharing your pictures and stories!
