I know it isn’t traditional, but I love the look.

I wanted to mimic the height of the wooden baseboards we have throughout the house in the bathroom. I selected a tile chair rail molding and liner to make the “baseboard”. I can’t wait to see everything grouted.

Slow and steady wins the race, right? We might not be fast but we sure are proud! Check out the subway tile.

It is very exciting to see the walls tiled. Finally, after all these years.

I have decided that our cat Jack used to work in construction or as a building inspector in a past life. Every day he walks into the room and inspects all the work that has been done.

White ceramic subway tile from Dal-Tile is being installed. I’m so excited! The bathroom is finally starting to look a little bit like my inspiration photo.
