1912 Bungalow Decorated For Christmas, 2006
It has taken us a while to get here, but welcome to our new site design. This site started in 2003 as a way for us to share all the work we were doing to restore our Craftsman bungalow with friends and family. The site now gives me the opportunity to share all the things and people who inspire me.
I am very excited to announce our Make The Season Bright Contest. We want to see interior or exterior photos of your house decorated for the holidays! Schoolhouse Electric Co. is generously giving a light fixture and shade to the winner. Second prize is a $75 Home Depot gift card and third prize is a $50 Home Depot gift card. Just submit a photo of your house decked out for the holidays to enter to win. Voting starts December 15th. The winners will be announced December 24th. We are going to be staying in Los Angeles for Christmas this year. I will miss the snow and our families but am looking forward to spending our first Christmas in the house.

A couple days ago I picked up a “Living Christmas Tree” at Osh to surprise Heather. Heather didn’t think we were going to get one since our downstairs is being renovated and we are leaving at the end of this week to spend Christmas with my family, so it was a nice surprise.
