Arts & Crafts Inspired Cat Furniture

As a cat owner I am always on the lookout for attractive scratching posts and kitty towers. The days of the ugly, carpet covered cat tree are long gone with many modern, streamlined alternatives becoming more and more available.

I recently stumbled across The Craftsman Series Feline Furniture created by Mr. Herzher's, which is set to become available in the Spring 2008. The furniture is made of solid wood construction and offered in two finishes, brown and a darker ebony. There are three styles; the single seat, the double seat and the deluxe double seat that also incorporates a premium sisal scratching surface.

They also offer a patent pending Scratching Platform that works well in homes where space is limited.
