The marble floor is even more gorgeous than I imagined.
I know it isn’t traditional, but I love the look.
I wanted to mimic the height of the wooden baseboards we have throughout the house in the bathroom. I selected a tile chair rail molding and liner to make the “baseboard”. I can’t wait to see everything grouted.

Yay! Looking good!
And Jack obviously loves it, too.
Oh kitty, that marble must feel so much better than the wet cement!!
Fabulous tiling work.
Hi there,
Looks beautiful! Can I ask where you bought the pieces that make up the baseboard? What is a tile liner? Did you cut and miter the corners together on site? Thank you!
Hi! All the tile came from DalTile. I haven’t checked lately, but I think DalTile can even be ordered from Home Depot, although we purchased ours directly through the DalTile store. A liner is just a really thin piece of tile and when it is in a wall it looks like a line that goes around the room. In our room, there is a chair rail piece of tile, then the liner and the subway tile.
