Wow, this is perfect! This is Dal Tile (maybe you can get the same color as the squares) What would be authentic is this subway tile if the color matches or even if it is off slightly...I cant remember if the floor was tile that matched the shower?? Anyway find out from the tile guy if you can substitute the subway pattern tile and get a trim piece for around the top of the tile shower. If you can get a black trim for the top that would be good as well. This is quite a site!!

I just compared the tile picture with the prior picture ... the tile makes the room look wider!

I see that the cat has moved out from under the window. :) The tile looks awesome! I can picture in my mind how fabulous it's going to look when all of the tile is installed. I love subway tile and I love even more windows in bathrooms, that one is in a great spot and you have privacy even with it open.

Hi! No magic, we are just stopping the subway tile at the wood molding that runs around the room. It is difficult to see in the photo because everything is painted white. You can see the molding here.

The subway tile and wood molding are 5' high. That seems like a nice height. Good luck with your project!

How high up the wall are you going with your subway tile? we are just starting a bathroom remodel in our 1923 bungalow in Denver. We also are using that tile, but have been trying to figure out how high up to go. Was there any magic to your decision on height?
